In Delaware County Court on
Monday, three men appeared on
charges related to alcohol consumption.
- James Meehan, 41, of Hamden,
pleaded guilty to driving
while intoxicated and leaving
the scene of a property damage
accident in Hamden on Dec. 12.
Meehan admitted his bloodalcohol
content was .30 percent,
or almost four times the legal
limit.
Meehan’s plea agreement
calls for a sentence of five years’
probation, drug treatment court,
restitution and a fine. He will be
sentenced June 16.
- Thomas A. Goodrich, 37, of
Walton, pleaded guilty in April
to DWI. According to his plea
agreement, he was sentenced to
five years’ probation with four
months of weekends in jail. He
was also fined $2,000.
- Kyle Lord, 18, of Hancock,
admitted violating his probation
by possessing and consuming
alcohol, being arrested for second-
degree assault on April 5,
failing to pay restitution and not
remaining employed.
Lord was originally sentenced
to probation July 9 on a charge of
third-degree burglary. Becker resentenced
him to a year in jail.
