ONEONTA _ A husband and wife injured when their car was struck by a cement truck last Thursday in Oneonta both remained hospitalized Sunday with serious injuries.
R. Edwin Harris, 89, failed to yield the right of way when he pulled onto state Route 7 from the Pizza Hut parking lot and his car was struck by a cement truck driven by Christopher Lanfair, 35, of New Berlin, state police at Oneonta said.
Harris was listed in critical condition at Albany Medical Center on Sunday night. His wife, Dorothy Harris, 86, was listed in critical but stable condition Sunday night at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital.
Lanfair was released from Fox hospital, officials there previously said.

{"Headline36"/}SHERBURNE _ A man was arrested Friday and charged with two felonies relating to child pornography, according to a media release from state police at Norwich.
Charles L. Collins, 28, of Sherburne, was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony, and possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony. He was arraigned in village of Sherburne court and sent to Chenango County jail on $25,000 bail, troopers said.
The arrest came after an investigation involving the state police Computer Crime Unity, Sherburne police, the FBI, the Southern Tier Cyber Predator Task Force and the Chenango County Sheriff's Department.

{"Headline36"/}ONEONTA _ A small tree fell on power lines early Saturday morning, causing on outage on Oneonta's Southside, according to the emergency officials.
The Oneonta Fire Department responded to Franklin Mountain to secure the scene and direct traffic at about 5:20 a.m.
State Route 28 on Franklin Mountain was shut down for a short time. Power, which had been cut to the major stores on Southside including Wal-Mart and Hannaford, was restored by midmorning, according to the Oneonta Fire Department.
