The last times to register to vote for the Nov. 4 general election are this weekend.
Candidates for president and vice president of the United States, and congressional, state Senate and state Assembly seats will be on the ballot this year.
In Otsego County, there are candidates for a county judge seat.
Completed mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked by midnight today and received no later than Wednesday.
Persons wanting to register in person may do so from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday at numerous registration sites set in area counties.
In Otsego County, voter registration day is Saturday, from 2 to 9 p.m., at the town halls in Otego, Maryland, Richfield and Hartwick.
Several locations in Delaware County will have registration hours from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday. The towns are Colchester, Davenport, Delhi, Hancock, Middletown, Roxbury, Sidney and Walton.
In Chenango County, the towns of Coventry, McDonough, Oxford, Plymouth, Sherburne and the city of Norwich will host registration hours from 2 to 9 p.m.
Residents who have moved to a new county must re-register from their new address. Those who have moved to a new address in the same county do not have to re-register, but they should provide their board of elections with their new address and to locate their new polling site.
