Two charged with heroin sale in Downsville
Delaware County deputies have arrested two Pennsylvania men in Downsville, accusing them of selling heroin to a confidential informant.
According to a press release from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Patrick Ladd, 29, and Walter Lewis II, 30, both former Delaware County residents living in Pennsylvania, were arrested about 9 p.m. Friday after allegedly selling 73 bags of heroin to the informant.
The arrests by the sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit took place in the parking lot of the Downsville Country Store, according to the press release.
Both men were arraigned in the Town of Colchester Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 cash bail each, the release said.
