Two teenagers have been arrested on burglary and other felony charges, authorities said.
Jeffrey M. Robinson, 18, of Downsville, and a Walton male, 16, whose name authorities withheld, were arrested according to a media release from the Walton Police Department.
Robinson and the 16-year-old were charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny of a firearm and fourth-degree grand larceny of property, police said. Robinson was arrested Saturday, and the Walton teen, who was arrested Sunday, also was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.
The defendants after arraignment in court were sent to Delaware County jail in lieu of $5,000 bail each, police said.
Delaware County District Attorney Richard Northrup said Tuesday that the felony hearings for the defendants were postponed from Tuesday’s date.
