---- — Work is underway near the entrance to Neahwa Park to fix the wood railroad crossing at James Georgeson Avenue in Oneonta.
CP Rail will be closing James Georgeson Ave. at the crossing on Tuesday for a more permanent repair. They will be removing the existing wood crossing material and replacing it with an asphalt crossing the following day. The city will assist with the asphalt paving.
City officials request that area residents use the Neahwa Place entrance to the park, at the intersection of Main and River streets, during repairs.
