---- — The Otsego Northern Catskills Board of Cooperative Educational Services seeks nominees from any resident of the BOCES area for its 33rd annual BOCES Service Awards.
Two awards will be presented — one to an individual and one to an organization or firm. Both will be judged by the following criteria: personal activities in support of BOCES programs, concepts and/or students; activities in support of recent BOCES graduates, personal service on advisory committees or boards; and leadership of any kind pertaining to BOCES programs and personnel.
Any resident of the Otsego Northern Catskills BOCES service area is eligible to be nominated, except current BOCES board members or employees.
Nomination blanks are available from any of the 19 school district offices in the Otsego Northern Catskills area, at the BOCES occupational school offices — Northern Catskills Occupational Center in Grand Gorge or Otsego Area Occupational Center in Milford — or at the BOCES administrative offices at the Northern Catskills Occupational Center.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, March 3.
These awards will be presented at the BOCES Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 1, at the Northern Catskills Occupational Center.
Last year’s recipient for the individual award was Douglas Bauer. The organization award went to The Scriven Foundation.
