Three Oneonta residents were arrested Thursday following a joint narcotics investigation by the Otsego County deputies, Oneonta police, Drug Enforcement Administration Albany district office, and SUNY Oneonta police.
Shavonda Shandray Harris, 22; Tasheeim Dayvon Faison, 25; and Robert Barnwell, 24; all residing at 16½ West Street, were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, Otsego deputies said.
Harris and her boyfriend, Faison, were also charged with second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, also a misdemeanor, deputies said.
The investigation began after deputies received information of possible drug activity at the West Street house. At 7:25 a.m. Thursday, a no-knock search warrant was executed, issued Monday by Oneonta City Court, deputies said.
Deputy Keith Sheldon and K-9 Ricky located cocaine, an electronic scale with cocaine residue and marijuana. Also seized with $1,204 in cash and Oxycodone pills.
Oneonta police assisted in the search, deputies said.
The three were arraigned in Oneonta City Court and sent to Otsego County jail on $1,500 bail. They face up to a year in jail if convicted, deputies said.
