Two local men have been accused of entering a home and stealing copper piping, tools and personal belongings, Oneonta city police said.
Thomas J. Pagillo, 24, of Oneonta, and Bryon E. Byriter, 33, of Sidney, were charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree grand larceny, all felonies, police said in a media release.
Pagillo was arrested Monday and Byriter was arrested Wednesday, police said. The defendants were arraigned in Oneonta city Court and sent to Otsego County jail.
They are accused of entering a residence on upper Main Street in the city, and police said the men also caused damage to the building. All items were recovered, police said.
