---- — Paving to start Monday in city

Oneonta city crews will pave some streets starting at 7 a.m. Monday, a media release said.

The streets affected will be Chester Street, Woodside Avenue, Olin Avenue and Cozy Avenue, and crews will start on Chester Street.

There will be no parking on the street before and during the paving, the release said, and there will be no access to driveways after paving begins.

After work has been completed, the street and driveways will accessible. For more information, call the Oneonta Department of Public Service at 432-2100.

Oneonta ZBA meeting canceled

The Oneonta Zoning and Housing Board of Appeals has canceled its regular meeting scheduled for Monday for lack of business, a media release from the city said.

The next meeting is scheduled is for 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at City Hall, 258 Main St. For more information, call the Oneonta City Clerk’s office at 432-6450.

Downsville man faces porn charge

A Downsville man has been arrested on a child pornography charge.

Erik L. Young, 27, was charged Wednesday with promoting a sexual performance by a child, a felony, state police at Margaretville said.
