Three downstate men were arrested Wednesday night on felony drug charges, state police at the Stamford satellite station said.
Brian T. Fennell, 19, of Ronkonkoma, Timothy S. O’Reilly, 19, of Farmingdale, Ruben M. Rebelo, 18, also of Farmingdale, were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of narcotics and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, narcotics with intent to sell felonies, troopers said in a media report.
Fennell also was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, scales and unlawful possession of marijuana, troopers said.
O’Reilley and Rebelo also were charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, scales, and unlawful possession of marijuana, troopers said.
The three defendants were held after their arrests on state Route 23 in the town of Harpersfield at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, the report said.
