The Oneonta Common Council will meet twice this week.
At tonight’s regularly scheduled meeting, the council will recognize the Otsego County 4-H Robotics Team, consider motions from the Finance/Administration Committee and personnel actions, according to an agenda. The meeting will be in City Hall, 258 Main St., at 7 p.m.
From 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, council members, city department heads and union leaders will meet to discuss broader issues about the city, review and set priorities and seek ideas, Oneonta Mayor Dick Miller said. The meeting will be at the Sixth Ward Athletic Club at 22 West Broadway.
Miller said Wednesday’s meeting is the third of more-issue oriented sessions but the first for council members who started terms last year.
Previous meetings resulted in formation of the Fire Department Task Force and some restructuring of department organization, Miller said.
