---- — A 17-year-old boy from Sherburne was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after the drug was found inside his book locker at Sherburne-Earlville High School, Chenango County deputies said in a media release.
Deputies’ K-9 unit and the New Berlin police K-9 patrol searched Unadilla Valley Central School and the Sherburne Earlville High School and Middle School on Wednesday, Feb. 13, the release said. The searches were done at the request of school administrators.
The arrested teenager, whose name deputies withheld, was issued a ticket to appear in Sherburne Town Court on March 7.
