-- — An East Branch woman who had faced similar charges in January has been arrested in connection with Facebook threats toward the Walton Central School District, according to the Walton Police Department.
Jennifer L. Morris, 28, was charged with one count of Falsely Reporting an Incident in the first degree, a felony, and one count of Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor.
Morris was arraigned before Village of Walton Justice diLorenzo and was remanded to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 bail. The investigation is still on going and additional charges are pending, police say.
Throughout the investigation the Walton Police Department was assisted by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office, NYC Department of Environmental Protection Police and their K-9 Units, New York State Police and their K-9 units as well as the FBI.
Morris was arrested in January for threats over Facebook on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, according to a media release from Walton police.
