Three local residents have been arrested on sealed indictment warrants issued in connection with efforts by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office to combat illicit drug activities, a media release issued Tuesday said.
The Nov. 7 arrests result from the defendants alleged sale of prescription medications, the release said.
Amy Mills, 42, of Franklin, was charged with two counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, deputies said. Mills was arraigned in the Delaware County Court and sent to the Delaware County jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
Stephanie Townsend, 39, of Sidney, was charged with three counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, deputies said, and James Townsend, 45, of Sidney, was charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
The Townsends were arraigned in Delaware County Court and sent to Delaware County jail without bail.
