---- — On July 20, from noon to 4 p.m., Oneonta Branch of the NAACP will host a “Community Picnics in the Park,” in celebration of the civil rights community. The event will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King’s March on Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech.
The group will provide food, live music by Chris Wolf-Gould Jazz Ensemble, games, Zumba lessons, face painting, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, stimulating conversations, and much more.
