Three local men were arrested March 21 in connection with the burglary of a High Street residence in early March, Walton police said.
John K. Mahler, 25, James J. Nash, 32, and Jason B. Campbell, 28, were each charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree grand larceny, a media release said. Mahler and Nash were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and Mahler also was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
After arraignment in Walton court, Mahler and Nash were sent to Delaware County jail on $50,000 bail, the release said, and bail for Campbell was set at $25,000, pending felony hearings for all three March 25.
The stolen property included a flat-screen television, and X-Box and a rifle, Walton Police Chief Brian Laauser said, and most of the stolen items, including the firearm, were recovered.
