Two Morris natives were arrested by the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office last week for allegedly burglarizing a town of Butternuts home.
Paul C. Werkheiser, 28, and Jennifer Picariello, 33, were arrested on June 2 for third-degree burglary and petit larceny, according to Otsego County deputies.
The arrest came after an investigation of a burglary complaint on County Highway 8 in Butternuts, deputies said.
Picariello was issued appearance tickets returnable at a later date and Werkheiser, who is currently on parole, was arraigned in the Butternuts Town Court, deputies said. Werkheiser was then sent to the Otsego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail.
