---- — A former employee of Orpheus Theatre faces three felony charges for alleged thefts and dissemination of pornographic materials to a minor, Oneonta city police said.

Steven D. Ranaudo, 21, of Oneonta, was charged March 9 with third-degree grand larceny, first-degree falsifying business records and second-degree dissemination of indecent material to a minor, police said. He was released on recognizance, pending a court appearance.

Ranaudo is accused of using the local theater company’s credit card for more than $3,000 in purchases for restaurant, electronic and other items, then of trying to cover up the charges on the statements, police said.

The investigation also revealed that he allegedly used the credit card to connect to a website and set up a fake identity that he used to send and receive pornographic pictures in an exchange involving a 15-year-old boy, police said.
