---- — An Otsego County inmate faces additional charges after threatening to blow up the county office building and kill county workers, according to a media release from the sheriff’s office.
According to the release, Timur Mustafa Demirel, 28, told several other inmates in January that he planned to commit the attack once he was release from jail.
He was charged Thursday with making a terroristic threat, a felony, and remanded back to the county jail. He is awaiting transfer to Elmira State Prison where, if convicted, he would face another seven years in prison.
