Delaware County Road Closures

All roads remain closed in Delaware County as a state of emergency remains in effect. Only emergency vehicles are authorized on Delaware County roads until the countywide state of emergency is lifted.

But emergency officials released a list of roads that suffered damage, were blocked or were washed away:

Town of Andes - Wolf Hollow Road at County Route 1.

Town of Bovina – East Bramley Road, Cape Horn Road, Bovina Road, Jim Lane Road – power lines are down, Martha Lane – closed for power lines down.

Town of Colchester –    State Highway 30 between County Route7 and Miller Hollow – trees and wires down, Bridge Street in Downsville, Back River Road from Downsville to Corbett , NYS Route 30 – north bound from Downsville.

Town of Davenport – County Route 9 from State Highway 23 over Charlotte Creek.

Town of Delhi – Spring Valley Road – multiple downed trees, Gray Road.

Town of Deposit – Columbia Lake Road, Airport Road.

Town of Hamden – Basin Clove at the Covered Bridge, County Route 2 from NYS Route 10 to bridge.

Town of Hancock – Houck Mountain, Carcass Brook,  Walton town line

Peas Eddy Road , wires and trees in the road near Newman Road.

Town of Kortright – County Route 33 by the pumphouse, River Road.

Town of Masonville – Pine Hill Road to Sidney town line.

Town of Meredith – Spring Valley Road.

Town of Middletown – Dry Brook - Hardenburgh to the town line, Dry Brook Road, Mill Brook Road, Huckleberry Brook, County Route 36, County Route 38, County Route 37.

Town of Roxbury – State Route  30 – Roxbury to Grand Gorge, County Route 8, County Route 8 – Bridge 8.1 closed, County 41 by Stratton Falls, water across road by Railroad Depot.

Town of Stamford – County Route 18.

Town of Sidney - Pine Hill Road to Masonville town line, Wheat Hill – downed trees and wires, Poplar Hill Road.

Town of Tompkins – Bridge St – Trout Creek, Roods Creek – downed wires, Finch Hollow between Gray and Dryden Road – downed wires.
