---- — Three people were arrested after authorities executed a no-knock search warrant at a town of New Berlin residence on Wednesday, Chenango County deputies said.
The arrests followed a lengthy investigation into sales of crack cocaine in the Chenango County area, a media release from deputies said Thursday.
The sheriff’s Narcotics Division and Entry Team executed the warrant and made a tactical entry into 118 Meadow Lane at about 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, the release said, and a search revealed a large quantity of crack cocaine, which was seized along with cash, packaging materials and paraphernalia.
Jessica and Alan Crisell, residents at that address, were each charged with first-degree criminal nuisance, felony, for maintaining premises to engage in the unlawful sale of controlled substances, deputies said. Jessica Crisell also was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, the release said.
Dequay L. Shoulders, of Syracuse, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony, and second-degree criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, deputies said in the release.
Shoulders was arraigned in Norwich Town Court and sent to Chenango County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, pending appearance in New Berlin Town Court at a later date.
Norwich city police assisted with the investigation.
