Area pair arrested on felony drug charges

Two Schoharie County residents have been arrested on felony drug charges, state police at Cobleskill said.

Joseph M. Cooper, 25, of Central Bridge, was charged April 20 with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, narcotics with intent to sell, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, narcotics, both felonies, troopers said. He also was charged with making a false written statement, a misdemeanor, troopers said, and he was held.

Robin Harpp, 27, of Cobleskill was charged April 24 with third-degree criminal sale of a control substance, narcotics, troopers said, and she was released on a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
