Four sentenced in Schoharie court

Defendants were sentenced in Schoharie County Court cases, according to a recently issued media release from the Schoharie County District Attorney’s Office.

The defendants and disposition of the cases were: 

• Emma Maxwell, 34, of Blenheim, pleaded guilty April 17 to second-degree grand larceny and was sentenced to 12/3 to five years in prison. She also was required to pay a $50 DNA sample fee, restitution of $141,029 and surcharges of $325.

• Joseph Panetta, 41, of Central Bridge, pleaded guilty April 17 to third-degree burglary and was sentenced to five years of felony probation and drug court, and he was required to pay a $50 DNA sample fee and surcharges of $325.

• Joshua Lindsay, 21, of Cobleskill, pleased guilty April 24 to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and was sentenced to five years of felony probation, required to attend drug court, pay a $50 DNA fee and surcharges of $325.

• Rossiter J. Lighthall III, 21, of Cobleskill, pleaded guilty May 1 to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, was sentenced to 21/2 years in prison and on year of post-release supervision and was required to pay a $50 DNA sample fee.
