Primary is Tuesday for town offices

Voters will go to the polls Tuesday to decide primary elections in three area counties for candidates for town offices. Polls are open from noon to 9 p.m. The election is open to voters registered with the applicable political party, living in the towns where elections will be held. Absentee ballot applications must be filed today. Additional information is available from local boards of election (see below). 


Five of the 19 towns in Delaware County will hold primary elections on Tuesday. Democrats will hold primaries in Andes and Middletown; Republicans, in Colchester, Delhi and Kortright. Candidates are as follows:
