A Hobart woman was accused of with felony drunken driving with a child in the vehicle and multiple other offenses, state police at Oneonta said Monday.
Megan D. Madore, 25, was charged at 7:30 p.m. Sunday with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child, a felony, and misdemeanors of driving while intoxicated, acting in manner injurious to a child and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 of 1 percent, troopers said in a media report. She also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, refusal to take a breath test, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, failure to keep right and crossing road hazard markings.
She was arrested on county Route 33 in the town of Harpersfield in Delaware County, troopers said, and she was released to a third party.
Also, on Route 33 at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, David R. Madore, 56, of Hobart, was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, acting in a manner injurious to a child and unlawful possession of marijuana, troopers said. He was issued a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
