The Weather Channel predicted that another mild snowstorm will hit the region by Tuesday. While the possibility exists for severe winter weather in eastern Texas and the lower Mississippi Valley today, forecasters predicted that by the time the snow hits the Northeast, it will produce only light snow with minimal accumulation. The storm is expected to reach the local area by midday or afternoon Tuesday.
The National Weather Service at Binghamton is calling for a chance of snow showers Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. High temperatures for the week are expected to be in the low to mid-30s, with lows in the low 20s.
