An Oneonta man has been arrested on burglary charges.
Brendan D. Lawrence, 27, of 170 West St., was charged Monday with first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, both felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, state police at Oneonta said in a media release.
Troopers and Otsego County deputies responded to a home at 474 Airport Road in the town of Laurens, where Lawrence was arrested. Troopers said Lawrence, who was armed with a knife, forced his way through the front door and kicked in a bedroom door. No one was hurt, troopers said.
Lawrence was arraigned in Laurens Town Court and sent to the Otsego County jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail, pending further court action, troopers said.
