---- — A local man has been charged with felony assault after an incident at work, Oneonta police said.
Nathan D. Cotten, 32, of Burlington Flats, was charged Thursday with second-degree assault, police said, and he was held pending arraignment.
Cotton was accused of kicking another man in the eye during a dispute at work Jan. 17 at GC Castings, a manufacturer on Roundhouse Road in the city, Lt. Douglas Brenner said.
The 48-year-old co-worker, who had fractures around his eye socket, sought treatment, then reported the incident to police, Brenner said.
