A Delaware County man has been charged with felonies by Otsego deputies and Oneonta city police.
Ryan C. Barnhart, 30, of Bloomville, was charged Jan. 13 on a sealed indictment arrest warrant for third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, cocaine sold in Oneonta in May, Otsego County deputies said.
Barnhart was arrested by investigators at the Otsego jail after being picked up at the Delaware County jail, where he was being held on $1,000 bail on a charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, heroin, Otsego deputies said in a media release.
Barnhart was arraigned on the Otsego County indictment before Judge Brian Burns, who set bail at $15,000.
The defendant was returned to the Delaware jail pending adjudication of that drug case, authorities said.
