Police still searching for missing women

Searches continued Monday for two women missing, authorities said.

Krista M. Kosowski, 51, of Norwich, has been missing since 11:15 a.m. Friday and didn’t arrive at her job Clinton, Oneida County, by 3 p.m. that day, according to Norwich city police.

During her travel time to work, the 40-mile route was likely under heavy rain and flooding conditions, with several roads impassable, police said.

Norwich police were seeking tips in their search for Kosowski. The department telephone number is 334-1212.

Kosowski is white, 5 foot, 7-inches tall, weighs 240 pounds and has brown hair and eyes, police said. Her vehicle was described as a gold-colored 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix four-door sedan with license plate No. FCX 3112.

Kosowski is a diabetic and had no known medications with her, police said.

In Montgomery County, the search continued Monday for Ethel Healey, 87, who has been missing since her mobile home was swept away by flood waters in the Mohawk Valley town of Fort Plain on Friday, the Associated Press reported.
