City plans to flush hydrants

The city of Oneonta Water Department will be flushing hydrants Monday starting at 7 p.m. and will continue through the week.

The flushing will be done in the following areas: Suncrest Terrace, College Terrace, Overlook Drive, West Street, Ravine Parkway, Ravine Park North and South, Clinton Street, College Park Drive, Blodgett Drive, Carson Road, Crestmont Terrace, Woodside Avenue, East Street, Spruce Street, Maple Street and Elm Street.

Residents in these areas may have rusty water for a short time or notice increased levels of chlorine, according to a media release.
