Taking a closer look at mayor's numbers

Dan Murdock, owner of Cooperstown CrossFit, said community members may participate in the Hope for Kenya, a workout at the gym Feb. 16. He said 100 percent of “CrossFit for Kenya” proceeds will go to projects in eastern Kenya.

CrossFit is an international fitness program that began in the mid-1990s in Santa Cruz, Calif., the release said. There are more than 5,000 CrossFit gyms worldwide. The Cooperstown gym opened in August. 

Participants may sign up sponsors for the workout at Cooperstown CrossFit at 4773 State Highway 28. For more information, visit Kenya.crossfit.com or www.cooperstowncrossfit.com or call Murdock at 267-1794.
