---- — The State University College at Oneonta recently hired former Otsego County Economic Developer Carolyn Lewis as its economic development coordinator, a college official said. Lewis, who stepped down from her full-time county position in August to spend more time with her family, was recently hired part time, Colleen Brannan, senior assistant to the college president said. Lewis started in the position on Monday. She will be working on initiatives that will benefit the college and community.
“It’s a win-win for both of us,” Brannan said. “We will have her expertise,” in applying for several state initiatives, while Lewis will have a flexible schedule.
“There is a lot of of opportunity out there.”
The salary amount was not available Monday.
