A Tarrytown man has been arrested on multiple charges after an investigation into a reported burglary, state police at Oneonta said.
Harley T. Falasca, 19, was charged Oct. 6 with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and second-degree criminal trespass, according to a media release. The arrest resulted from the report of a possible burglary in progress at a residence on Glen Drive in Oneonta, troopers said.
Troopers before arriving at the scene had been told that the suspect had fled the residence into the woods, and Falasca was located and arrested without incident.
An investigation determined that Falasca had crashed his vehicle on the the roadway earlier, fled the scene and entered the residence to sleep, troopers said.
Falasca was issued tickets to appear in Oneonta Town Court on Oct. 22.
