January 14, 2009 04:00 am Dani Conway went 12-for-16 from the line in the fourth quarter to help the Bainbridge-Guilford girls basketball team earn a 60-53 Midstate Athletic Conference victory over visiting Afton on Tuesday night. Conway, who finished 16-for-20 from the line, scored a game-high 32 points for the Bobcats (6-3, 1-1). "They put her at the line quite a bit down the stretch," said B-G coach Bob Conway, Dani's uncle. "We made sure the ball was in her hands. They were fouling trying to get back in the game" Dani Conway is 31-for-40 in the past two games from the line. Shania Vandermark, a freshman, came off the bench to score 10 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Jessie Winans scored 19 points to lead the Crimson Knights (6-2, 1-1), who received 13 points from Heather Simonds. B-G visits Hancock on Friday. "They don't have a go-to player, but everybody scores," Morris coach Kerry Mason said of Edmeston, which jumped to a 29-13 halftime lead after outscoring the Mustangs, 20-7, in the second quarter. "They're a very deceiving team. They've got balance, so you can't pinpoint anyone. They shot the lights out tonight." Martin also hit two three-pointers during the Panthers' second-quarter run, which included six of Lauren Olsen's nine points. Edmeston also received seven points from Taylor Ross and six apiece from Susanna Johnson and Jackie Davis.
