Tyler Dunne scored with 2 minutes, 7 seconds left in sudden-death overtime Saturday to lead host Oneonta State to a 13-12 SUNY Athletic Conference men's lacrosse victory over Brockport that clinched the final playoff spot in the conference tournament for the Red Dragons.

O-State (7-7, 4-3), which won its fourth straight, will visit top-seeded Cortland (13-1, 7-0) in a SUNYAC Tournament semifinal at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Cortland beat visiting Oneonta, 22-3, in a regular-season SUNYAC game on April 12. Wednesday's winner advances to the tournament final, which is slated for Saturday at the highest remaining seed.

Brockport's Adam Drypolcher scored a man-up goal with 2:41 left in regulation, tying the score at 12 and eventually forcing overtime. Brockport (6-7, 1-6) rallied from 6-2 down in the first half by outscoring the Red Dragons, 6-1, in the third period.

Andy Hilton scored three goals for the Red Dragons, who received two goals apiece from Kevin McSloy, Tyler Dunne and Dennis Headrick.

McSloy led Oneonta to a 6-2 lead at halftime with two goals and one assist in the first half.

Goalie Kyle Reich made 13 saves in the victory. Counterpart Garret Allwes stopped 16 shots for Brockport, which outshot O-State, 48-47.

O-State clinched a berth in the SUNYAC Tournament with a Sunday doubleheader sweep of host Fredonia, 6-2 and 11-1. The Red Dragons (22-14, 9-5) earned the second seed for the conference tournament, which runs this coming Friday through Sunday at top-seeded Cortland (34-3, 14-0).

On Saturday, Josh Bedosky singled in the winning run in the opener of Oneonta's SUNYAC doubleheader sweep of visiting SUNYIT. The Red Dragons rallied from a two-run deficit in the bottom of the ninth for a 5-4 victory, then received a four-hitter from freshman pitcher Dave Filak in an 11-1 win in the second game.

Down, 4-2, entering their last at-bats in the first game, the Red Dragons started a three-run rally when Brian Holmes was hit by a pitch to lead off. Cherry Valley-Springfield graduate Scott Dubben reached on an error and Ryan Myers singled to load the bases. After Oneonta High graduate Jon Wolfanger pinch-ran for Dubben, Dan Randall tied the score with a two-run double.

The Wildcats (14-23, 3-11) intentionally walked Nick Martino to re-load the bases and, after two outs left O-State with runners at first and second, Bedosky singled to left-center field. Martino scored from second to end it.

Oneonta scored its first two runs in the sixth, on an RBI single from Bedosky and a sacrifice fly from Mickey Collins to tie it at 2. SUNYIT scored once in the first, once in the second and twice in the eighth.

Reliever Patrick Connors earned the victory by closing with 1 1/3 scoreless innings of one-hit ball.

O-State jumped to a 3-0 lead in the second game on an RBI triple from Chris Brady, a sacrifice fly from Randall and an RBI single from Dubben.

Oneonta also scored twice in the third, before Ty Brodt homered in the fourth for SUNYIT's run.

The Red Dragons (20-14, 7-5) capped the scoring with three runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Filak (3-2) struck out five in his seven-inning victory. Dubben went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, two runs and a double, and Brady finished 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs and an RBI.
