Tri-Valley Shootout
Morris junior Dillon Anderson earned medalist honors, shooting a 7-over 79 in the Tri-Valley League Shootout on Monday at Oneonta Country Club.
Anderson won by four shots over teammate A.J. Puylara, a sophomore, and Laurens senior Miguel Short.
Six players from each of the four Tri-Valley League teams gained entry into the tournament. The top six earned all-star recognition.
Cherry Valley-Springfield's Chip Taylor shot an 88 to finish fourth. Teammate Mike Cagganello finished fifth with a 90 and Edmeston's Billy Gaston was sixth with a 91.

Walton eighth-grader Molly Maguire broke a 25-year-old school record in the 1,500 meters Saturday in the Sherburne-Earlville Invitational.
Maguire's winning time of 5 minutes, 14.3 seconds broke the previous mark of 5:14.7 set by Kitty Hitt in 1983.
Maguire led the whole race.
