Unadilla resident Pete Pearson made his first hole-in-one Aug. 27 at Sundown Golf & Country Club in Bainbridge.
Pearson used a 7-iron on the 144-yard fourth hole while playing in the Wednesday Night League. Tom Birdsall and Francis Fairchilds witnessed the shot.
Two days earlier, Davenport Center's Gary Borden holed out on the 130-yard 10th at the Oneonta Country Club. Borden used a 9-iron for his first hole-in-one. Billy Vagliardo, Nick Lambros and Mitch Milavec played with Borden.
On Tuesday, Bill Reidenbach aced the 120-yard, par-3 13th at Colonial Ridge Golf Course in Laurens. Pete Virtell and Wayne Aldrich witnessed the shot.
Upcoming events
Colonial Ridge will host a captain-and-crew tournament run by the United Methodist Church in Morris at 9 a.m. Sept. 20. Cost is $20 per player. Greens fees and cart fees cost extra. For more information, call the pro shop at 607-263-5291.
The Kiwanis Club of Oneonta will host a captain-and-crew tournament at 1 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Woodhaven Park Golf Course. Cost is $55 per player and includes greens fees, cart and dinner.
