October 06, 2008 07:55 pm Tournament MVP Chelsea Haight scored twice as host Davenport earned a 2-1 girls soccer victory over South Kortright in the championship of the Chic Walshe Tournament on Saturday. Haight, who scored in each half, has 25 goals and eight assists this season. "It was a good game _ back-and-forth," said Davenport coach Ray Preston, whose team improved to 15-0. "We missed a couple of 1-on-1s." The Wildcats had a 22-13 advantage in shots. Cassie McMullen made 19 saves for the Rams and Katie Goss had 11 for Davenport.
