Rebecca Bucci scored a game-high 18 points, including four three-pointers, for Oneonta State in the opening round of the Hunter College Tournament on Friday.
Amanda McDowell contributed 16 points for the Red Dragons, who received 11 points from Megan Bucci.
Sara Chrystie had 11 assists and four points for Oneonta, which plays host Hunter in the championship game at 3 p.m. Saturday. Simmons plays Saint Joseph College in the consolation game at 1 p.m.

Katie Caddell scored a team-high 12 points for Hartwick (1-2) in a first-round win over Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (1-1) during the Blazer Tip-Off Tournament at Elms College.
Thirteen players scored for Hartwick, which turned 27 MCLA turnovers into 29 points and held a 24-12 scoring advantage in the paint.
The Hawks will play Johnson State (2-0) in the championship game at 4 p.m. Saturday. Elms (0-3) and MCLA will play in 2 p.m. consolation game.
Johnson State beat Elms, 64-61, in Friday's other first-round game.

Ryan Morin had a game-high 18 points for Oneonta State in a first round loss in the Gordon College Tip-Off Tournament.
Brian Beckford contributed 12 points for the Red Dragons, who received eight points apiece from Michael Grimes and Rob Fitzgerald.
Maurice Lane had seven points and seven rebounds for Oneonta (1-2), which plays Wesleyan in the consolation game at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Aaron Trigg scored 15 points to pace Gordon (3-0), which plays William Patterson in the championship game at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Senior Jan Coccozziello scored 33 points _ his ninth 30-point game all-time at Hartwick _ as the Hawks beat York in the opening round of the New Paltz Tip-Off Classic.
Cocozziello had 20 of the Hawks' points in the first half, which ended with Hartwick trailing, 31-28. He finished 6-for-10 from the floor, with three three-pointers, and went 5-for-6 at the foul line in the opening half.
Albert Hulick hit three straight free throws to break a 60-60 tie and Mark Blazey converted another for a 64-60 lead with 1:24 to play.
Ramond Doyley contributed 10 points and a game-high eight rebounds for the Hawks.
Hartwick advanced to the championship game at 8 p.m. Saturday.
