Devon Bedient rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries to help visiting Delhi rally for a 34-32 Section Four Football Conference Division VI win over Harpursville on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (3-1, 2-0) rallied from a 20-6 halftime deficit with the help of a 20-point fourth quarter.

"Harpursville is pretty good and they can make you miss," said Delhi coach Dave Kelly, whose team hosts rival Walton at 1:30 p.m. this Saturday. "We didn't tackle very well in the first half. In the second half, we tackled better and people didn't get away as much."

"We got a great day out of Davionne," Kelly said. "That's a big day and we needed every bit of it."

Alex Hendrickson rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries to lead the Spartans to a Section Four Division V victory Friday night.
The Spartans (4-0, 3-0) also scored two special-teams touchdowns and one on defense. Dane Hedlund rushed for a score and had an 89-yard interception return for a touchdown. Erik Barber contributed a 56-yard scoring run and a 65-yard kickoff return. Anthony Eardley finished the scoring with a 50-yard fumble return.
"We tried to get everybody in and we had the opportunity to do that," Unatego coach Art Rigas said. "We expect them to try their hardest and do their best and they did. ... Certainly you don't want to go in with the mindset to score that many points. At the same time you don't want to tell your kids not to try their best."
