Gun show set for Sunday
The Midstate Arms Collectors and Shooters Club will host the Oneonta Gun Show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday at the Oneonta Holiday Inn.

Section Four will host a basketball rules interpretation meetings for the 2012-13 winter season at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Oneonta State’s Morris Hall.
Section Four coaches of all levels are encouraged to attend.
Cherry Valley-Springfield will host the first of three coaching courses required by New York State beginning Tuesday.
The 15-session course, Principles, Philosophy and Organization of Athletics in Education, will be led by Jordan Jaquay and costs $110.
The first four sessions will run from 5-8 p.m. Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at CV-S. Dates for the remaining sessions will be announced after the first week.

Elks Hoop Shoot
set for Nov. 10
The Oneonta Elks Lodge will hold its annual Elks Hoop Shoot at the Oneonta Boys and Girls Club at 10 a.m. Nov. 10.
This free-throw competition is open to boys and girls ages 8-13 who will be those ages on April 1, 2013. Birth certificates are required on the day of competition.
Winners will advance to district competition, which will be followed by regional, state and national rounds. The National Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass., will host the national finals.

Basketball tourney Nov. 12
The Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown will host a 3-on-3 youth basketball tournament Nov. 12.
Cost is $3 for members and $6 for non-members. Each team must have two boys and two girls. Teams will be grouped by grades (5-6; 7-8; 9-12).

OBGC to host
The winter session of Lacrosse Oneonta will run Mondays from Nov. 12-Jan. 21, 2013 at the Oneonta Boys and Girls Club.
Boys and girls in grades 3-7 will play from 6-7 p.m., followed by youths in grades 8-12 from 7-9 p.m.
There is no fee to participate, but players must be OBGC members. A small amount of equipment is available for beginners.

The Anton Remy Tournament will return to Milford’s basketball schedules after taking a few years off, the Milford Booster Club announced earlier this month.
Milford will host all three days of the event, which runs Nov. 29-Dec. 1. Cherry Valley-Springfield’s boys will play Franklin in the tournament opener at 6 p.m. Nov. 29, followed by Milford’s girls against CV-S at 7:30 p.m.
On Nov. 30, the CV-S girls will play Franklin at 6 p.m., followed by Milford’s boys against Roxbury at 7:30 p.m.
The boys consolation is set for 4 p.m. Dec. 1, with Milford’s girls following against Franklin at 5:45 p.m. The tournament ends with the boys championship game at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1.
WCDO offers live streaming
WCDO Broadcasting has added streaming capabilities that will allow fans of local high school teams to tune in to games that are broadcast throughout basketball season on Sidney radio station FM 100.9 and AM 1490 WCDO.
The broadcasts are free and will be in real time on computers and Android smartphones via the new website at WCDOSports.com.
Past broadcasts remain available at WCDO’s main website, WCDORadio.com, in the WCDO Sports on Demand section. This free service will continue alongside the live, real-time streaming at WCDOSports.com.
