Herkimer 16, Cooperstown 4

Park Summers’ two-run single in the third inning highlighted Cooperstown’s efforts in a Center State Conference road loss. His single drove in Ethan Bliss and James Johnson as part of a three-run third inning that pulled the Hawkeyes to 7-3.

Herkimer (6-7) had four hits apiece from Bradon Olderfield and Stephen Scialou.

Cooperstown (4-4, 4-3) hosts Hamilton today.
