Brieanna Baker and Brianna Haines combined on a five-hitter for the Jackets, who were coming off a 2-0 defeat of two-time defending Class B champion Windsor on Wednesday. Baker struck out 11, walked two and allowed two hits in five innings. Haines struck out one, walked two and gave up three hits in two innings of relief.
Baker and Hayley Dower doubled for the Jackets, who host Chenango Forks today.

Alexis Joy went 3-for-3 with four runs and two doubles to lead Morris to a six-inning Tri-Valley League win on the road.
Liana Garry homered, singled and scored three times for the Mustangs, who scored eight times in the sixth inning for the final margin. Teammates Paisley Sellers and Kaylyn Oliver each tripled and singled, and winning pitcher Tessa Hitchcock went 2-for-2 with a double.
