Bowhunter course May 21-22

West End Archery in Oneonta will host a NYS Bowhunter Education Course from 5:30-9:30 p.m. May 21-22.

Class size is limited to 25 students. To register, call West End Archery at 607-432-4947.

OHS boys soccer to meet Monday

Oneonta High will host a preseason interest meeting regarding boys varsity and junior varsity soccer at 7 p.m. Monday in Room 221 of the high school.

All boys interested in playing should attend with their parents or guardians. The meeting will provide information about the soccer program before the start of preseason training and also will determine interest in the Soccer Booster Club.

Hall to host baseball clinic May 24

The National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown will host its annual Legends for Youth Skills Clinic from 4-7 p.m. May 24 at Doubleday Field.

The clinic gives youths ages 5-12 a chance to learn hands-on training from several former Major League Baseball players. The event concludes with an autograph session for participants.

Clinton HOF inductions May 25

The Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual General Clinton Canoe Regatta Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on May 25.

The ceremony will start with a meet-and-greet event from 3-4 p.m. at General Clinton Park in Bainbridge. Dinner will follow the meet-and-greet. Tickets are limited, cost $25 per person and must be ordered by Friday. Dinner tickets include reserved seating for the ensuing Induction Ceremony, which will be open to the public as standing room only.

The Bruce Beadle Band will play until the fireworks display at 10 p.m.
