Davenport rallies to beat Delhi

The Wildcats (4-2, 3-2) will host Jefferson on Thursday.

Jefferson 38, Windham 22

Shiann Bellinger scored a game-high 17 points and had 10 steals to lead host Jefferson to a Delaware League victory.

Bellinger and Emily Wenner scored four points apiece as the J-Hawks outscored Windham, 10-0, in third quarter to take a 29-12 lead.

“We ramped up the defensive and stole a lot of passes for fastbreak layups,” Jefferson coach Scott Valens said of his team’s play in the third quarter.

Olya Rizzo contributed nine points for the J-Hawks (3-4, 2-4), who’ll travel to Hunter-Tannersville on Thursday.

Keily Linger led Windham (0-7, 0-4) with 11 points. The Warriors will host Roxbury on Wednesday.

Cooperstown 63, Herkimer 43

Liz Millea scored 29 points as visiting Cooperstown won in the Center State Conference.

Maggie Hall contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds for Cooperstown, which received nine points from Lucy Ford.

Hannah DeLude had 14 points for Herkimer.

Cooperstown (3-2, 2-1) will host Franfort-Schuyler on Friday.
