---- — Hunter education course set

The Pindars Corners Fire Department in West Davenport will host a free hunter education gun course for ages 11 and older from 5:30-9 p.m. Feb. 18-20.

Class size is limited to 30 people. Participants should bring a snack or supper. For more information or to register, call Losie’s Gun Shop at 607-432-6452.

Hodges Pond still closed

Hodges Pond in Neahwa Park remains closed for ice skating because of poor ice conditions.

Updates regarding hours and ice conditions are available by calling the Oneonta City Recreation Department info-line at 607-432-7997.

O-State softball dinner Saturday

The Oneonta State softball team will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.

The 6th Ward Athletic Club in Oneonta will host the dinner, which costs $8 per person.
