Suderley breaks scoring record, but Hawks fall

Jessica Zoltowski had 15 points to lead the Soaring Eagles (14-5, 6-3), who received four points from Worcester graduate Karli Pochkar.

The Hawks play a 4 p.m. game Saturday at E8 rival Alfred University.

Fredonia 68, O-State 63

Lyteshia Price finished with team-highs of 17 points, eight rebounds and two blocks, but host Oneonta State lost a SUNYAC game at home.

Grace Schilling contributed 15 points and six assists for the Red Dragons (15-6, 9-5), who received 12 points from Alyshia Crawford and 11 from Sarah Longto.

Brittany LaForce’s game-high 18 points paced Fredonia (12-7, 7-6), which took a 36-30 lead into halftime.

Oneonta hosts Buffalo State at 2 p.m. Saturday.

INDOOR TRACKIthaca Quad Meet

Hannah Jepsen won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:05.07 to lead SUNY Cobleskill’s women at the non-scoring Ithaca Quad Meet at Ithaca College.

The Fighting Tigers also received third-place finishes from Princess Joefield in the 60 hurdles (9.38) and the 200 (28.20). Joefield qualified for the NYSCTC Championships in both events, as well as the ECAC Championships in the 60 hurdles.

Winston Lee won the 60 in an ECAC- and NYSCTC-qualifying time of 7.03 seconds to pace Cobleskill’s men.

Eban Quinones also qualified for both postseason meets with a second in the mile in 4:20.89.

Cobleskill will compete in the Lafayette-Rider Games at 10 a.m. next Friday at the Armory in New York City.
