---- — Milford tourneys start today
Milford Central will host its fifth annual March Madness Basketball Tournaments today and Saturday.
Varsity and junior varsity boys and girls basketball players will form a co-ed team to play Milford staff members and adult relatives at 5:30 p.m. today. The event will feature a shooting contest open to all in attendance. Adult relatives who wish to play may sign up by calling Brenda Lang at 607-286-3349.
On Saturday, the Wildcats will host 3-on-3 tournaments for youths and adults beginning at 11 a.m.
Doors open at 10 a.m. for the double-elimination tournaments, which will have male and female divisions for players in grades 5-6, 7-9, 10-12 and adults. Skilled players may compete at the next level, but those in higher grade may not play down.
Cost to register is $50 per team at the door or $40 in advance. Those who register on the day of the event must arrive by 10 a.m.
Teams must have a minimum of three players and a maximum of four. Waiver forms must be completed, signed by a parent or guardian and submitted the day of the tournaments for each player younger than 18. Waiver and entry forms are available at Milford Central’s main office, online at www.milfordcentral.org or by emailing Lang at firstname.lastname@example.org.

SUNY Delhi sets pool schedule
SUNY Delhi’s pool hours through Sunday are as follows:
Today: Lap swim 7-8 a.m., 11 a.m.-1 p.m., 5:30-6:30 p.m.; Open swim 7-9 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: Open swim, 1-5 p.m.
Registration for spring swim lessons runs from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.
Waterfront Lifeguard Training class will run from Wednesday through May 7. Cost is $270.

Trapshoot set for Sunday
The Bainbridge Sportsmen’s Club will host a trapshoot at 9 a.m. Sunday.
The club will hold trapshoots the third Sunday of each month through October.

Hunter ed course starts in April
The Davenport Fire Department will host a NYS hunter education course from 5:30-9 p.m. April 14, 16 and 17.
Students must be at least 11 years old. There is a limit of 40 students and participants must attend all three nights.

O-State to host wrestling clinics
Oneonta State will host its Red Dragon Wrestling Clinic Series on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Chase Physical Education Building wrestling room through April 22.
The elementary school division runs from 6-7 p.m. and focuses on fundamentals and technique. The middle/high school division runs from 7-8 p.m. and focuses on fundamentals, technique, drills, match strategy and training.
O-State wrestling coach Duane Ritter will run the series, which will feature assistants Rocco Caponi, Bill Cooper, Mike Hamilton and Nate Leonard. O-State wrestlers and PHED 207 coaching certification students will serve as volunteer coaches and guest clinicians as well.
